1. Who we are
Astralis AI ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at astralisai.app and the Astralis AI mobile application. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at hello@astralisai.app.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following information when you create an account or use our services:
- Account data: your name and email address. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a unique provider identifier (used solely to authenticate your account) — we never receive your password. Apple users who choose to hide their email are assigned a private relay address by Apple; we only see the relay address.
- Payment data: processed securely by Stripe — we never store your card details
- Usage data: pages visited, features used (via Vercel Analytics, anonymised)
- Device data: browser type, operating system, IP address
- Astrological data (app): birth date, birth time, and birth location that you provide for personalised readings
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account
- To process your subscription payments via Stripe
- To send you transactional emails (confirmation, app launch notification)
- To provide personalised astrological power windows and recommendations
- To improve the app and website through anonymised analytics
- With your consent, to measure the performance of our ads on Google, Meta, and TikTok and to show you relevant ads on those platforms

4. Third-party services
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate:

- Apple App Store / Google Play — app distribution and in-app purchases, subject to their respective privacy policies

- MongoDB Atlas — secure database hosting
- Vercel — website hosting and (with your consent) anonymised analytics
- Resend — transactional email delivery

- Google Ads — ad conversion measurement (only with your consent)

5. Push notifications
The Astralis AI app may request permission to send you push notifications about your personalised astrological events and cosmic windows. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings. We do not use push notifications for advertising.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to sign you in and run the service. Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel) are only set if you consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

7. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Payment records required by law (e.g. for tax purposes) are retained for 7 years.

- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict our processing of your data

9. Security
We take security seriously. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Your payment information is processed directly by Stripe and never touches our servers.
10. Children's privacy
Astralis AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@astralisai.app and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email of any significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
